History

The first 700 days

In the beginning, tlotb attempted to do some classic demos and intros, and of course to make friends in scene. 1994 was a good year. In this first phase we created the Blastersound BBS intro, that phamous intro for our WHQ (Hello Mikel!), the Ignore, a demo for Fallas’95 finally not released, Psycho Therapy (Euskal III intro-64 winner) and Impro Vice coded right at the party.

The transitional phase

Astharoth started in 1996 a new phase in concept of code and design with the Abduction Demo. Doing rare and unusual things at the risk of defrauding the rest of the freaks, fortunately our ideas merged, and a new concept therefrom. The rest of tlotb were doing classic jobs such as Geminis and Sheer Hearth Atack.

Our style

In 1997 the scene changed more, becoming more about design and new styles. We welcomed this. In that phase we created Hysteria 64kb and Tryit 64kb. Our demo Apocalipsis didn’t get any significant position or praise, but we are proud of this demo because through it, we fully defined our way. Poison 64kb was the last relic of the dark phase. By 1999, tlotb had come to a stop.

Meditation time

During the period from 1999 to 2002 tlotb was immersed in a high meditation process which led to the development of xsystem. This engine was the deffinitive step to windows programming and meant bye bye to msdos productions, hi to productions which could prove the power of xsystem.

Fresh blood

Thanks to the efforts of Astharoth and Hgh, finally Corsario, Liso and Sole joined the group at late 2003, a bit before bcnparty11, where they released their first tlotb demo, Broken Minds.

Nowadays they are mainly developing tools for using Xsystem, meanwhile Astharoth and Hgh continue adding new features to it.

You

But we still miss something… the second summoning of tlotb is upon you… we need your help, to perhaps continue our work when we are long beyond… contact us… love us… be tlotb!
